Transport Topics: Roadrunner Opens Service Center in Atlanta
Roadrunner opened a new less-than-truckload service center in Atlanta, the long haul freight carrier announced April 10.
The cross-docking facility previously operated as a terminal for Yellow Corp. before the carrier had to declare bankruptcy. It has since undergone extensive renovations and now consists of two buildings with 75 doors, an on-site mechanical shop with three full bays, an inspection lane, electric security fencing and parking for more than 300 trailers.
